This ceremony is for all Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers who will be receiving one of the girl awards this Guiding year. Formal invitations will be going out to each girl individually once your registration information below is received, to invite them along with their family to celebrate their achievement.

Nite Trek
This is going to be an exciting event for both Girl Guides and Scouts. You are welcome to come Friday, May
11th after 5:00 PM and stay the whole weekend or just come for the Trek with check in starting at noon and the
Trek starting at 6:00 PM (please don’t check in later than 4:00 PM).
Trekking groups will be organized into groups of 6 with both girls and boys of the same age range to Trek the
Cross Country Ski Trails at Telemark Trails for a distance of approximately 8-10 km. Along the trail there will
be Adventure Stations where the groups will need to work as a team to complete

Rainbow Revelee
When: Saturday, June 16, 2012
Where: Crystal Mountain – Telemark (West Kelowna)
Registration: between 11:30 am and noon
Activities Start: 12 noon and End at 4:00 pm
Bring: a backpack, garbage-less, nut-free lunch
water bottle & traders
Wear: your uniform shirt, a hat, running shoes and bring a jacket
Snack will be provided
Fee: $10 per girl

Rock & Roll Adventure Camp
July 21 to 29 (approx) 2012
An adventure event for Pathfinders, Rangers & Trex in the summer of 2012 - A week long road trip to Squamish that is looking to include multiple adventure activites as well as an overnight introduction to backpack camping at Joffre Lake Provincial Park. The girls chosen for this will have input into selecting their itinerary with the possibility of day hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, mtn biking, ziplines or high ropes. Cost is $500 and includes all food, transportation and activities for the week. This event is also being subsidized by Monashee Area. Watch for the applications coming out in February.
A third Guider is needed for this trip. Guiders will be responsible for driving girls and gear, as well as participating in all the activites. There is a cost of $300 for all Guiders. Please contact Colleen Aven if you are interested - trex@monasheegirlguides.com
