JUST FOR YOU, New Guider! And for YOU, TOO, Guider-moving-to-a-new-branch!
Spend a few hours with us and learn the essentials for your new unit – what a meeting looks like, what are the traditions and ceremonies you need to know, where to find those instant meeting ideas!
District Commissioners – take note of this date for when you recruit new Guiders for the 2017-2018 year!
This training is designed for new Guiders or Guiders starting into a new level of Guiding this fall (i.e. a Spark leader moving to Brownies, etc.)
First Meetings trainings are branch specific and cover:
1. an overview of the program
2. planning a year
3. weekly meeting formats
4. record keeping
5. traditions i.e. opening and closing songs, brownie circle, guide horseshoe, etc.
7. campfire songs
8. lots of fun!
This is not an in-depth training, but gives Guiders enough information so they can get started.
